Species Toxocara canis
Common Name: large roundworm of dogs
Clade: Clade III
Disease: Toxocariasis is an intestinal disease of dogs (T. canis) and cats (T. cati). Toxocara can also cross into humans causing the zoonotic diseases ocular larval migrans and aisceral larval migrans.
